Georgia House Resolution commending Coach Ronnie O. Spry for three decades of dedication to student athletes as a basketball coach, athletic director, and assistant professor at Paine College since 1980

Coach Spry recorded his 500th career win in 2009 and received numerous honors, including Best Tournament Coach – Southern Intercollegiate Champion in 1999 and 2001 and the Guardian of the Game Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches

Inducted into the Paine College Hall of Fame and named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, Kodak District Coach of the Year for Division II South Atlantic District, and Atlanta Tip Off Club Coach of the Year for Division II

Coach Spry holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Campbellsville College and a master's degree in college teaching from Murray State University
