Mr. Bias holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Louisville and a master's degree in health administration from Duke University

Serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Affiliations for Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center, responsible for developing strategic relationships with providers across Georgia to support the state's only academic health sciences university

Has held multiple leadership positions since joining the health system in 1987, including Senior Vice President of Ambulatory and Network Services, Chief Operating Officer of MCG Hospitals, and Assistant Director of Operations for MCG Hospital and Clinics

Active in community service, having served on the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission and the boards of Wills Memorial Hospital, East Georgia Health Cooperative, and East Central Georgia Emergency Medical Services Council, and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives
