Recognizes and commends Senior Police Officer Eric Antonio Jones on the occasion of his retirement after 30 years of service with the Atlanta Police Department

SPO Jones joined the Atlanta Police Department on June 18, 1982, and was sworn in as an officer on January 4, 1983, his 22nd birthday

He was the first recruit assigned to the Police Athletic League, was assigned to the Chief of Police Office in 1988, and promoted to Senior Police Officer/Field Training Officer in 1993

The Georgia Senate congratulates him on his retirement and extends best wishes for continued health and happiness

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to SPO Jones
