Georgia House Resolution 1685 recognizes and commends Pastor Harry H. Barrow on the occasion of his 30th pastoral anniversary as senior pastor of Newnan Presbyterian Church, where he has served since 1984

Pastor Barrow was born on January 8, 1950, and holds a B.S. from Louisiana State University (1971), a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary (1974), and a Doctor of Ministry from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (1981)

He has served on numerous boards and committees in Newnan and the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, including as moderator, and currently serves on the Board of the Coweta Samaritan Medical Clinic for the working poor

Pastor Barrow was selected as Alumni of the Year by Columbia Theological Seminary and inducted into the Hall of Fame of University High School in Baton Rouge

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit an appropriate copy of the resolution to Pastor Barrow
