GA HR2019

Georgia House Resolution 2019, introduced by Representative Marin of the 96th district, recognizes and commends Mauricio Guadamuz for his professional accomplishments and contributions to diversity in engineering and science

Guadamuz received the 2013 Virtuoso Award from Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES), the top national award for scientists and engineers, and the 2013 Rising Star Award from the National Association of Latinos in Information and Sciences and Technology (LISTA)

He is a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a staff systems engineer for Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he was accepted into the Chief Technology Officer's Corporate Engineering and Technology Ph.D. Program in December 2010

He previously served as Campus Relations Manager for University Talent Acquisition at Lockheed Martin, leading efforts to increase college minority hires and research collaboration, and served as Atlanta chapter president for LISTA

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Mauricio Guadamuz
