He was ordained in 1983 by the Metropolitan Spiritual Churches of Christ, Inc., founded Faith Spiritual Church of Christ in Virginia in 1985, and was elevated to Bishop in 1991

He founded The Holy Light Tabernacle of Deliverance and Praise, Inc. in Georgia in 2000, founded Deliverance Is Nigh Ministries Worldwide, Inc. in 2008, and was affirmed as Chief Apostle in 2012

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit an appropriate copy of the resolution to Chief Apostle Archbishop Michael C. Hope, Sr.
