Georgia House Resolution 1543, sponsored by Representative Stovall of the 74th district, recognizes and commends Reverend Dr. Angela Arnold-Witherow for her outstanding public service and community contributions

Born March 3, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, she worked for multiple government agencies including the General Service Administration, Fulton County Health Department, and Fulton County Sheriff's Department before leaving to pursue community ministry

She founded Listen n Learn Daycare and later established Anointed Prayers of Faith Ministries in Clayton County, Georgia, and received a declaration of divinity from Blessed Hope in Nashville, Tennessee

Her community outreach includes weekly visits to Autumn Leaves Adult Living Center, providing community service opportunities to newly released inmates and troubled youth, distributing bread to the less fortunate, and transporting those in need to appointments

She holds memberships in organizations such as the American Clergy Leadership Conference (where she received the Ambassador for Peace Award), New Beginning Women's Ministries, and Clayton County Board Head Start, and was nominated for 2015 Minister of the Year
