Georgia House Resolution commending James F. "Jim" Grubiak for 44 years of public service to the people of Georgia, recognizing his retirement from the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) effective July 1, 2016

Grubiak began public service in 1972 at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, serving as Planner, Community Impact Coordinator, State Director of the Appalachian Regional Commission Program, and Economic Development Section Chief

Joined ACCG in 1982 after earning a Juris Doctor from Woodrow Wilson College of Law, serving as Staff Attorney, Legislative Director, and General Counsel over 34 years with the association

Played a key role in establishing ACCG's nationally recognized retirement and insurance programs, mentored countless ACCG staff and local government attorneys, and helped craft legislation across 40 regular and special legislative sessions

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Jim Grubiak
