Greg Fann has served as pastor of Liberty International Door of Hope Ministries for 35 years and was influenced by civil rights icon Ralph Abernathy, Sr.

Elected president of AFSCME Local 3 in 1995, he grew the union from 75 members into a broader organization of Fulton County employees and helped pass a county ordinance establishing a Labor Relations Department for Fulton County for the first time

Held numerous leadership roles including Atlanta Labor Council Executive Board member (2000), Mayor Pro-Tem of East Point (2001), president of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists Metro Atlanta Chapter (2010), and currently serves on the Georgia AFL-CIO Executive Board

Secured raises for Fulton County employees earning $40,000 or less annually and protected employees from furloughs and health insurance cost increases
