Georgia House Resolution 1901, sponsored by Representative Hugley of the 136th district, formally recognizes Ms. Shankeia Pollard for her dedicated public service to her community and the State of Georgia

Ms. Pollard is the founder and CEO of Education is the Answer (EITA), a youth and young adult organization she self-funded for eight years that provides youth intervention, HIV testing and counseling, and homeless outreach

She serves as chairwoman of the Mayor's Commission on Unity, Diversity, and Prosperity and sits on multiple executive boards, steering committees, and advisory groups in the Columbus/Muscogee County area

Ms. Pollard completed her Master of Business Administration with Cum Laude distinction, was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, and works professionally as a nurse while mentoring children in low-income schools

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Ms. Pollard
