Normer Adams serves on the boards of three agencies dedicated to improving children's lives, including as president of Bloom Our Youth in Fayette County, Georgia

In retirement, he became a recreational tree climber, joining the Atlanta Tree Climbing Club and serving as vice president of its board

He has rescued more than 17 cats and drones from trees, often at heights exceeding 100 feet, with some rescues spanning more than two days and maintaining a 100 percent success rate—all performed free of charge as a public service

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Normer Adams
