Georgia House Resolution 1325 recognizes and commends Ashley Bell for his contributions to the State of Georgia and the United States

Ashley Bell was appointed by the U.S. Small Business Administration as Regional Administrator for Region IV, covering eight southeastern states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee

Bell's government career includes election as Hall County Commissioner at age 27, Senior Strategist and National Director of African American Engagement at the Republican National Committee, Special Assistant in the U.S. Department of State's Public Affairs Bureau, and presidential appointment as Associate Director of Peace Corps

He began his career as a public defender, co-founded the Atlanta-based law firm Bell & Washington, LLP, and was recognized by the American Bar Association as one of the 2016 "Top 40 Young Lawyers"

Bell founded Generation Inspiration, working with at-risk schoolchildren of color, and 20/20 Leaders of America, a bipartisan organization focused on criminal justice reform
