Georgia House Resolution 1391, sponsored by Representative Jones of the 53rd district, recognizes and commends Audraine Jackson as a distinguished servant leader for her professional and philanthropic accomplishments

Audraine Jackson enrolled early at the University of Georgia, graduated in three years from the Grady College of Journalism, and became the first UGA student to win the Georgia Association of Newscasters Scholarship

After a career as a broadcast journalist, she transitioned to marketing communications, managing accounts for clients including Miller, Coca-Cola USA, Kroger Food Stores, and Proctor and Gamble, and went on to found Jackson Communications

She founded the September 11th First Responders Appreciation Program honoring firefighters and law enforcement in Southwest Atlanta, as well as the Flowers to Widows Program providing Valentine's Day flower gifts to recently widowed individuals

She has served on local and regional boards of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and was honored by 100 Black Women of Atlanta's Mecca Chapter and the City of Atlanta for her community service
