Georgia House Resolution 1446, introduced by Representative Nelson of the 125th district, recognizes and commends Rosa Clemons for receiving the Annual Servant Leadership Award

Rosa Clemons served with Veteran Affairs for 28 years and held the role of Interim Associate Medical Director of Veteran Affairs, in addition to working as a licensed practical nurse in the private sector

She served as past president of the Augusta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, and the Richmond County Board of Health

She is an active member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church, where she served as National Conference Coordinator and sings with the Senior Choir

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Rosa Clemons
