Georgia House Resolution honoring the life and memory of Dr. H. Kenneth Walker, who passed away on February 23, 2018, recognizing his 60-year career in medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital and as a professor at Emory University's School of Medicine and Rollins School of Public Health

Dr. Walker served as assistant chief of medicine for the Grady Health System beginning in 1958, trained more internal medicine residents than any other Emory physician, and served two years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War

Led the Atlanta-Tbilisi Partnership for more than 25 years as executive director of Partners for International Development, bringing 50 Georgian medical graduates to Emory for training and establishing health care improvements in the Republic of Georgia

Named an honorary citizen of the Republic of Georgia in 2005 and received the Georgia Hospital Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award from the Georgia Hospital Association in 2016

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to Emory University, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Walker's family and friends
