Georgia House Resolution 1734, introduced by Representative Greene of the 151st district, recognizes and commends Dr. John "Jay" Dallas of Arlington, Georgia, for his outstanding community service

Dr. Dallas served professionally through Dallas Dental Care and held numerous community roles, including Hospital and Community Recreation board member, youth sports coach, Calhoun Memorial Hospital dental advisor, and Georgia Department of Medical Assistance Advisory Council member

He contributed to dental education as a Darton College Hygiene Department volunteer and Darton College Dental Hygiene Program Advisory Board member, and served as an officer of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry

Awards and professional honors include the American Orthodontic Society Achievement Award, Academy of General Dentistry Fellow, American Orthodontic Society Fellow, and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society

The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Dr. Dallas
