Authorizes the Georgia Board of Dentistry to issue temporary, limited licenses to out-of-state dentists and dental hygienists with unrestricted licenses in good standing to provide free dental care to low-income patients on a volunteer basis at charitable dental events in Georgia

Requires applicants to submit applications at least 30 calendar days in advance, undergo a criminal background check, provide proof of CPR certification, a National Practitioner Data Bank report, and malpractice insurance documentation

Temporary licenses are valid for no more than 5 consecutive calendar days per charitable dental event, and holders must wait 6 months before applying for another temporary license under this provision

All practice under these temporary licenses must occur under the direct supervision of a Georgia-licensed dentist in good standing, with each supervising dentist limited to overseeing no more than 4 non-Georgia licensed dentists or 4 non-Georgia licensed dental hygienists at a given event

Hosting entities—including accredited dental schools, nonprofit dental organizations, and for-profit continuing education organizations—must submit event details to the board at least 60 calendar days in advance, including proof of follow-up care arrangements for patients for at least 30 days after the event
