Georgia House Resolution recognizing and commending Senior Judge George H. Kreeger, a Cobb County native who earned his B.S. and J.D. from the University of Georgia and served 8 years in the Georgia House of Representatives

Judge Kreeger was appointed State Court Judge in January 1979, then appointed to the Cobb Superior Court Bench in June 1984, where he served as chief judge and as administrative judge for the Seventh Judicial District

Presiding judge of the Cobb County Superior Court Drug Treatment Court since its inception in 2002, overseeing more than 600 graduates of the program over 17 years and chairing the Judicial Council of Georgia's Standing Committee on Drug Treatment Courts

Active in community organizations including the Smyrna Optimist Club (serving as president and lieutenant governor) and named 2012 Smyrna Optimist of the Year

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Senior Judge Kreeger
