Bishop Givan serves as senior pastor of Unity of Faith Bible Church and is the founder and principal of His Academy Christian School of Excellence

He earned his undergraduate degree from Fisk University and both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Ministry International Institute in Jacksboro, Tennessee

Prior leadership roles include state director of Promise Keepers, director of the Atlanta Pastors Fellowship, Atlanta-area director of the Urban Alternative, and director of job readiness training with Odyssey III

The Secretary of the Senate is authorized to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Bishop Givan
