Congratulates and commends Y. Dyan Matthews for receiving the 2022 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leader Award, presented annually during Women's History Month by the Georgia Legislative Women's Caucus to outstanding women in Georgia

The award is named after Representative Nikki T. Randall, who in 1999 became the first African American female elected to the Georgia General Assembly from middle Georgia, serving 17 years as a legislator

Y. Dyan Matthews has served 12 years as president and CEO of the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, spearheading membership growth, staff enlargement, and the organization's rebranding to the Greater South Fulton Chamber of Commerce in January 2022

Matthews also serves as president of the South Fulton Convention & Visitors Bureau, member of the South Fulton Advisory Board of the United Way of Greater Atlanta, and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to make an appropriate copy of the resolution available for distribution to Y. Dyan Matthews
