Georgia Senate Resolution 774 recognizes and commends Pastor Cecil J. Rozier on the occasion of his pastoral retirement

Pastor Rozier graduated from Newton County High School in 1980 and served six years in the United States Army before entering the ministry, preaching his first public sermon on March 7, 1993

He led Rock Creek Baptist Church for five years before being called to lead Sims Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as pastor for 22 years

During his tenure at Sims Chapel Baptist Church, he established numerous programs and workshops that improved the spiritual and educational growth of the church and surrounding community

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Pastor Rozier
