Graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2001, clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Anthony Alaimo, practiced at Bondurant, Mixson, and Elmore, and later established her own woman-owned law firm

Named Legislator of the Year by the Georgia Association of Educators for her work promoting quality education and adequate funding of the judicial system

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide an appropriate copy of the resolution to Senator Jordan
