Georgia House Resolution recognizing and commending the Preface Project, an award-winning Georgia-based nonprofit now entering its fifth year, which increases early childhood literacy by training high school student "Ambassadors" to read with and mentor young students in multiple languages at no cost to schools

The Preface Project has donated thousands of diverse, brand-new, educator-approved children's books to teachers and schools across Georgia and the nation, helping students progress from functional illiteracy to reading at or above grade level

Founder Jonathan Sung An Terrence "JT" Wu is a lifelong Georgian and Gwinnett County native, and the child of immigrants, who has dedicated his career to advancing early childhood literacy both nationally and in Georgia

Wu also serves as chairman of the Gwinnett County Public Library Board of Trustees, which oversees the largest circulating library system in Georgia

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to distribute copies of the resolution to the Preface Project, Jonathan "JT" Wu, and the public and press
