Mrs. Peggy Wilson, a 32-year member of the GFWC Georgia / Morrow Civic Woman's Club, is congratulated and commended as the club's 2024 National Jennie Award nominee, the highest individual honor bestowed by the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC).

Mrs. Wilson won the Georgia Jennie Award in August 2023 and the Southern Region Jennie Award in October 2023, advancing to compete nationally at the 2024 GFWC Annual Convention in Chicago, Illinois, in July 2024.

The Jennie Award, named after GFWC founder Jane Cunningham Croly, recognizes individual clubwomen for outstanding commitment to club, community, and family, and for exemplifying independence, courage, and persistence in purpose.

The GFWC Georgia / Morrow Civic Woman's Club, originally federated in 1962, supports local libraries, children's and women's shelters, senior citizens' centers, Habitat for Humanity, military programs, and scholarships for women at Clayton State University.

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to provide copies of the resolution to Mrs. Wilson and the GFWC Georgia / Morrow Civic Woman's Club.
