The Bangladesh Association of Georgia was established on November 25, 1990, with a mission to unite and empower Bangladeshi-Americans in Georgia through cultural events, educational programs, and community initiatives

The Atlanta-based organization celebrates Bangladeshi national days including the Bangla New Year, arranges consulate services, youth educational seminars, fairs, and festivals to connect the community with Bangladeshi heritage

The association works to build cross-cultural bridges by introducing Bangladeshi heritage to Atlanta's multicultural communities and encouraging a new generation of Bangladeshi-Americans to explore their culture

The Secretary of the Senate is authorized to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and the press
