Transfers Medicaid coverage for foster children in Georgia from managed care organizations to the fee-for-service Medicaid program upon contract expiration or renewal

Covers foster children under age 18 in the Division of Family and Children Services system, as well as former foster youth under age 26 who were receiving Medicaid at their 18th birthday

Requires the Department of Community Health to submit any necessary Medicaid state plan amendments to the federal Department of Health and Human Services

Contains an automatic repeal date of December 31, 2028

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor or upon becoming law without such approval
