Caps rent increases at 10% for qualifying senior tenants aged 62 or older whose primary income comes from Social Security benefits (including retirement, survivor's, supplemental security income, and disability benefits)

Applies only to tenants with existing rental agreements as of June 30, 2026

Rent increase limit is in effect for a temporary period from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028

Amends Chapter 7 of Title 44 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (landlord and tenant law)
