Requires all interscholastic athletic teams in Georgia public schools and participating private schools to be designated as male, female, or coed for each competition

Prohibits male students from participating in athletic programs designated for females, and vice versa, with sex defined solely by reproductive biology and genetics at birth as stated on the original birth certificate

Replaces the term "gender" with "sex" throughout existing athletic anti-discrimination provisions in the Quality Basic Education Act

Removes the athletic association's discretionary authority to adopt policies prohibiting students from competing on teams of a different sex, making such restrictions mandatory under state law

Applies to private schools only when they compete against public schools or local school systems, not when competing exclusively against other private schools
