Prohibits physicians from performing breast, pelvic, prostate, or rectal examinations on unconscious or anesthetized patients without prior informed consent from the patient or authorized person

Allows exceptions when the examination is within the scope of ordered care, is medically necessary for diagnosis or treatment, or is court-ordered for evidence collection

Informed consent extends to all medical personnel under the responsible physician's direct supervision and control, as well as other medical personnel involved in treatment

Patients must be informed that other medical personnel besides the primary physician may perform the examination

Amends Code Section 31-9-6.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated regarding required disclosures and consent for certain procedures
