Requires health benefit policies, state employee health plans, and Medicaid to cover peripheral artery disease (PAD) screening tests at least once every 12 months for at-risk individuals

Defines at-risk individuals as those 65 or older; ages 50-64 with risk factors like diabetes, smoking history, or hypertension; under 50 with diabetes plus one additional risk factor; or those with known atherosclerotic disease in another vascular bed

Covered screening tests include ankle-brachial index testing and ankle plethysmographic pulse volume recordings with Doppler waveforms

Prohibits insurers from applying special deductibles, copayments, or limitations to PAD screening that are not generally applicable to other covered benefits

Takes effect January 1, 2027, for private insurance; state employee and Medicaid provisions contingent upon appropriations by the General Assembly
