Extends the sunset date for MARTA's 1% retail sales and use tax from June 30, 2057 to June 30, 2067, providing an additional 10 years of full-rate tax collection authority

After the sunset date, the tax rate automatically reduces from 1% to 0.5%

Amends the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority Act of 1965

Becomes effective immediately upon the Governor's approval or upon becoming law without approval
