Primary residences of health care providers (including real property and mobile homes) would be fully exempt from levy, sale, garnishment, or other legal process to collect medical malpractice judgments

Exemption applies only to health care providers who are natural persons, not corporate entities

Exceptions allow collection against the home for tax liens, government obligations, mortgages or deeds of trust on the property, and criminal restitution orders

Effective date of July 1, 2026, applying only to claims, liens, or judgments filed on or after that date
