GA HB1233

Authorizes municipalities and counties to waive development impact fees for workforce housing projects consisting of single-family residences intended primarily for owner occupancy

Removes the existing requirement that exempted projects must fund their proportionate share of system improvements through an alternative revenue source when the waiver applies to qualifying workforce housing

Prohibits local governments from increasing development impact fees on other projects solely to offset revenue lost from exempted workforce housing projects

Requires that the public policy supporting any exemption must be contained in the municipality's or county's comprehensive plan

Amends Code Section 36-71-4 of Title 36, Chapter 71 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated relating to development impact fee calculations
