Requires all health benefit policies renewed or issued on or after July 1, 2025 to cover healthcare services for PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome)

Mandates the state health benefit plan for state and public employees, dependents, and retirees to include PANDAS/PANS coverage beginning January 1, 2026

Coverage must include diagnosis, treatment, appropriate management, and ongoing monitoring when supported by nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines

Prohibits insurers from imposing special deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or other limitations specific to PANDAS/PANS treatment that do not apply to other covered healthcare services

Excludes self-insured health benefit plans subject to federal ERISA jurisdiction from the coverage mandate
