Creates the new felony offense of "online menacing of a peace officer" for intentionally posting personal information about a peace officer or their immediate family member online along with any threat, suggestion, or request for physical violence against them

Personal information covered includes names, home/work addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers, vehicle license plates, and photographs of officers or their immediate family members

Immediate family members protected include spouses, children, siblings, parents, and spouses of those relatives

Penalty is 1-10 years imprisonment, a fine up to $25,000, or both; judges may also issue permanent restraining orders at sentencing

Jurisdiction extends to any county where the victim resides or is found, or where any part of the offense occurred, regardless of whether the defendant was physically present in that county
