Establishes a pilot program providing Medicaid coverage for doula care, reimbursing up to five visits per pregnant recipient for prepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum care

Requires participating doulas to complete appropriate training as determined by the department

Mandates a detailed report to the Governor and legislative leadership by December 31, 2028, covering participant health outcomes, doula reimbursement recommendations, and potential statewide expansion

Pilot program terminates January 1, 2029, with automatic repeal of the authorizing code section on that date

Act becomes effective only upon specific appropriation of funds through a line item in a General Appropriations Act
