Prohibits state and local law enforcement from arresting individuals for performing or aiding abortions conducted in accordance with Georgia's existing abortion law (Code Section 16-12-141)

Protects individuals from investigation, civil or criminal penalties, or deprivation of rights based on actions related to pregnancy outcomes including miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, abortion, or perinatal death from causes occurring in utero

Expands affirmative defenses for licensed physicians to include performing abortions or administering treatment that may lead to abortion when necessary to avert the pregnant woman's death or prevent serious risk of substantial bodily impairment

Clarifies that "unprofessional conduct" for medical licensing purposes only applies to abortions performed in violation of the specific provisions of Code Section 16-12-141, rather than all criminal abortions

Amends Title 16 (crimes and offenses) and Code Section 43-34-8 (medical licensing discipline provisions) of the Official Code of Georgia
