Amends Georgia Code Section 46-3A-2 to add nuclear energy generation facilities as a separate category that utilities must evaluate in their integrated resource plans filed with the Public Service Commission

Requires utilities to demonstrate the economic, environmental, and other benefits of nuclear facilities to the state and customers as part of the planning process

Previously, nuclear energy was not explicitly listed among the energy sources utilities must consider, which include energy efficiency improvements, power pooling, purchases from neighboring states, alternative energy, and cogeneration/hydro-generation

Maintains existing requirements that utilities file integrated resource plans at least every three years, with commission approval within 120 days of filing
