Longshoremen, maritime, port, warehouse, and logistics workers employed by certified organizations would be classified as essential workers during Governor-declared states of emergency

These workers could not be unreasonably impeded from reporting to work by emergency orders, curfews, or movement restrictions from GEMA or local officials

The Department of Public Health would provide priority access to personal protective equipment, testing, vaccinations, and other protective resources for these workers

Workers would be eligible for temporary hazard pay, premium pay, or emergency compensation as authorized by the Governor

Amends Code Section 38-3-58 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated relating to emergency management
