Extends the notice to vacate or pay period from 3 business days to 7 business days for tenants who fail to pay rent, late fees, utilities, or other charges owed to landlords

Amends Georgia Code Section 44-7-50 governing dispossessory (eviction) proceedings

Requires the 7-day notice to be posted in a sealed envelope conspicuously on the property door, plus any additional delivery methods specified in the rental agreement

Landlords may proceed to court to file an affidavit and begin dispossessory proceedings only after the 7-day notice period expires without payment or surrender of possession
