Licensed veterinary technicians may administer antirabies vaccinations to dogs, cats, and other animals required by Georgia to be vaccinated against rabies, provided they work under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

Amends Chapter 19 of Title 31 (rabies control) and Chapter 50 of Title 43 (veterinarians and veterinary technicians) of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.

Adds administration of antirabies vaccinations to the statutory definition of "practice veterinary technology" under Code Section 43-50-3.

County governing authorities may continue to levy fees up to 50 cents per dog, collectible by veterinarians who either administer or directly supervise the administration of required antirabies vaccines.

Creates new Code Section 43-50-54.1 establishing the legal framework for veterinary technicians to perform this function under direct veterinary supervision as defined by the board.
