Georgia brewers may operate up to two satellite tasting rooms at separate locations under common ownership with their main brewing facility, allowing retail sales of malt beverages to individuals for personal consumption

Satellite tasting rooms are exempt from the transfer limitation that normally restricts how much beer a brewer can move between licensed premises; transfers must still be reported quarterly to the department

Sales for off-premises consumption remain capped at 288 ounces per individual per day, and total annual retail sales across all brewer locations cannot exceed 6,000 barrels

Satellite tasting rooms may also obtain a separate retail license for on-premises consumption and purchase alcoholic beverages from licensed wholesalers, manufacturers, and importers

Effective July 1, 2026 for all purposes except rulemaking, which takes effect upon the Governor's approval
