Increases the number of State Court of Chatham County judges from three to four, effective January 1, 2029

The fourth judge will be elected by qualified Chatham County voters at the nonpartisan general election held jointly with the 2028 general primary, serving a four-year term

The additional judge will have the same powers, duties, jurisdiction, privileges, immunities, and compensation as the existing State Court judges

Chatham County's governing authority is authorized to provide the new judge with courtroom space, facilities, office space, equipment, supplies, and personnel

All expenditures for the additional judge are declared court expenses payable from the county treasury
