Expands the corporate limits of the City of Byron, Georgia by annexing a parcel of land bounded by Housers Mill Road and Georgia Highway 247 connector in Land Lot 15 of the 5th Land District, measuring approximately 5,220 feet along Housers Mill Road

Amends the City of Byron charter originally approved February 13, 1941, and last amended April 13, 2001

Contingent effective date of June 1, 2026, requiring a separate deannexation act for the City of Fort Valley to be passed during the 2026 legislative session

Automatically repeals on June 1, 2026, if the companion Fort Valley deannexation bill is not enacted and approved
