GA HB1573

Establishes a $20,000 homestead exemption from City of Statham ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes for residents age 62 or older

Provides an additional $10,000 homestead exemption for residents age 67 or older, allowing qualifying seniors to receive up to $30,000 total exemption

Exemptions apply only to municipal property taxes, not county or school district taxes

Requires voter approval through local referendum before taking effect
