Requires owners of alternative fueled vehicles (electric, natural gas, hydrogen, or propane) with gross weight of 10,000 pounds or less to display identifying stickers on the bottom corner of both front and rear windshields

Department of Revenue will design and distribute the stickers for a $3.00 fee upon initial or renewal registration, with different sticker designs for each fuel type

Failure to display required stickers is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $100.00

Exemptions apply for the first 45 days after purchasing an alternative fueled vehicle and until registration expires for vehicles registered before January 1, 2026
