Amends Georgia Code Section 44-7-51 to authorize approved process servers to serve eviction summons in addition to sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and lawful constables

Approved process servers may use the same alternative service methods as sheriffs and constables when personal service fails, including delivering to a person residing on the premises or posting on the door with first-class mailing

The bill is officially titled the "Eviction Service Act" and has passed both the Georgia House and Senate
