Establishes a student teacher grant program administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission, providing up to $5,000 to a maximum of 500 student teachers per school year beginning July 1, 2026, with eligibility limited to Pell Grant-eligible students actively engaged in their educator preparation program

Creates a signing bonus grant program administered by the State Board of Education, providing a one-time $2,500 payment beginning January 1, 2027 to former student teacher grant recipients who complete their EPP program and work 30 calendar days as a teacher in a Georgia public school

Requires the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to establish reporting requirements to track whether the programs impact teacher vacancy rates in the state

Programs sunset on December 31, 2028, after which no grants may be funded, awarded, or disbursed

Effectiveness is contingent upon the General Assembly appropriating specific funds for the grant programs
