Georgia Board of Dentistry may issue teacher's or instructor's licenses without examination to dentists for teaching at accredited dental colleges, advanced education programs, or training clinics in the state

Applicants from non-accredited foreign dental schools must meet revised requirements: hold or have held a dental license in another state, country, or territory; submit a dean's recommendation letter with verification of employment offer; and have current CPR certification

Applicants are disqualified if they have failed the Georgia dental licensure examination or had a dental license revoked in any jurisdiction

Teaching licenses restrict practice to duties performed as an employee of the accredited institution or in affiliated programs and training clinics only

All applicants must pass a jurisprudence examination on Georgia dental laws and consent to a criminal background check, with applicants responsible for background check fees
