Department of Community Health must conduct an annual review of all medications, treatments, and services covered under Medicaid for recipients diagnosed with sickle cell disease

Review must assess whether current coverage adequately meets patient needs and whether additional medications, treatments, or services should be added

Department must solicit public input during the review process, with emphasis on receiving feedback from individuals and groups with sickle cell disease treatment knowledge and experience

Annual report detailing findings and recommendations must be submitted to presiding officers of each house of the General Assembly by January 15 of each year

Report must be forwarded to appropriate standing committees and published on the Department of Community Health's public website
